Terms of Use
Last updated: July 8, 2026
Welcome to Ember - a daily practice site and app. Using ember.day or the Ember app means you accept these terms. If anything here doesn't work for you, simply don't use the service.
What the service is
Ember offers a short daily practice for presence and inner state, in the browser and in the app. We improve the service continuously, so content and features may change.
Not medical advice
The app is a practice tool. It is not psychological treatment, not medical advice, and not a substitute for either. If you are dealing with mental distress, please see a professional.
Subscription and payment
Parts of the service require a paid subscription. Purchases go through the Apple App Store at the price shown at purchase. Renewal, cancellation, and refunds are managed through your Apple account, under Apple's terms. You can cancel at any time.
Fair use
The service is for personal use. Don't copy, sell, or redistribute parts of it, attempt to disrupt it, or use it unlawfully.
Intellectual property
The design, the content, and the Ember name belong to us. The personal content you create in your practice is yours.
Liability
The service is provided as is. We work to keep everything running smoothly, but we don't guarantee it will always be available or free of faults, and we are not liable for indirect damages arising from its use.
Ending use
You can stop using the service at any time. We may limit or end access if these terms are violated.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Israel, and the courts of Tel Aviv have jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
